This area is called Dirab, it is surrounded by a beautiful escapment with red sands for me to play in,

if you cant take Mohammed to the mountain then take me!

The view from the other side facing the city, it is a formidable

task to climb the sides of these dunes in you car.

Dunja and Natasha on the top of the dunes relieved after the

our tiresome journey to the top of the dunes, also grateful

they are still alive, as it was a rather scary task to get to the top in my car.

Al-Athria, what can you say, this is a beautiful palce where we visit frequently, a place to get away,

and to be marveled by the stunning architecture and divine interior design.

The two buddies at the palace, amoung running around in their black sacks they enjoy a relaxing

day sitting in the qym, chatting, and talking crap, as well as to lie in the sun or take an

exhilirating steam bath or sauna to be refeshed with a warm jakoozi, a far too tough life.

My fun - this is where I like to live my life, I come here to really get away, jump on a snowboard, and

head down the dunes at an alarming speed, apart from eating many mud cakes and getting sand

everywhere, as you can imagine, it is a lot of fun. We use little 4X4 motorbikes to go up the dunes,

it sort of gets very exhausting walking up.

The dunes are very high, approx 120m, so you can get enough speed to enjoy a crashing sand bath.

The man conquered the day, yes I got to the top of the dune, it was rather a feat of manhood endurance,

with a nervous passenger (Nasser) and surprised onlookers, I would have to say the Jeep Wrangler is

by far the best machine for the job. Also to keep handy in these situations is tissues for your

passengers, as they do frighten easily. (This photo was taken with a 300X zoom lens)
